Good hash browns are easy and delicious, crispy and brown. Yummmmm!!!!!
Ingredients
2 medium russet potatoes shredded
1/2 medium onion shredded
1/4 cup all purpose flour
1 egg
1/4 tablespoon garlic salt
1 cup oil for frying
Pepper to taste
1/4 tsp of parsley flakes (optional)

Heat oil in a large heavy skillet over medium heat. When oil is hot
place potatoes into the pan. Cover the whole bottom of the pan or make
separate piles like pancakes. Cook until nicely browned on the bottom
and them flip over and brown on the other side.
3. Remove from pan and drain on paper towels. Season with salt and pepper and serve.
4. If you are trying to avoid frying food, then make a Hash Brown Basket in a cupcakes pan and bake.
